This year, the Festival is screening the documentary film, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOY IN THE WORLD, an account of the life of Björn Andrésen, known as the beautiful boy and subject of Gustav von Aschenbach’s (Dirk Bogarde) obsession in the film, DEATH IN VENICE. This is an excellent opportunity to revisit Luchino Visconti’s 1971 masterpiece in a new and restored version.
