Friends of the Festival
Documentary filmmaker, winner of the Ministry of Education and Culture Award for Cinema Arts, and the Landau Award for the Performing Arts. Anat Even's films deal with memory, identity, and belonging, through which she observes and studies reality and society in Israel. Her films have been presented at international festivals and screened on galleries and museums in Israel and abroad. Even co-edits the online magazine TAKRIV. Her films include: DUDA (1994), COMPROMISE (1996), DETAINED (2001), SATURDAY IN JENIN (2002), PRELIMINARIES (2005), CLOSURE (2009), and DISAPPEARANCES (2017).
