Asaph Polonsky's debut feature, One Week and a Day, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Critics’ Week, where it won the Gan Foundation Award. It went on to win Best Film at the Jerusalem Film Festival and Best Supporting Actor for Tomer Kapon at the Ophir Awards. His thesis film, Samnang, premiered at the New York Film Festival and was nominated for a Student Academy Award. He is currently directing the series Traitor, created by Ron Leshem and Amit Cohen.
