An internationally renowned French director, screenwriter and actress. Her feature debut Chocolat (1988) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and her films regularly feature at major festivals, including No Fear, No Die (1990), I Can't Sleep (1994), Nénette and Boni (1996), Beau Travail (1999), Trouble Every Day (2001), Friday Night (2002), The Intruder (2004), and 35 Shots of Rum (2008).

Whit Stillman

USA

A writer-director of five feature films: the Oscar-nominated Metropolitan (1990), Barcelona (1994), The Last Days of Disco (1998), Damsels In Distress (2012), and Love & Friendship (2016). A former journalist he has also written two novels. 

Florian Zeller

France 

A French filmmaker and pla-ywright. Zeller's first film The Father (2020), an adaptation of his play, starring Olivia Colman and Anthony Hopkins, won two Oscars for Best Actor and Best Adapted screenplay. His second film adaptation The Son starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern and Vanessa Kirby premiered at the Venice Film Festival last year.

CEO of Sundance Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to discovering, supporting, and inspiring independent film and media artists from around the world. She produced over 40 films and previously served as Executive Director of the Toronto International Film Festival. 

Maria Schrader

Germany

A filmmaker, writer, and actor. Her US debut, She Said, won last year's AFI and NY Critics Movie of the Year Awards. Her film I'm Your Man (2021) was the official German Oscar entry. For her direction on Netflix's Unorthodox she was awarded the Primetime Emmy in 2020, the first German director to receive the prestigious prize.
