Israeli Narrative Features and Shorts - Jury
Tali Shalom-Ezer

Tali Shalom- Ezer is an award-winning screenwriter and director. Born and raised in Israel, Shalom-Ezer obtained international recognition when her critically acclaimed film debut, Princess, premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2015. The film won the four awards at the Jerusalem Film Festival, including Best Film Award. Her film My Days of Mercy, starring Ellen Page and Kate Mara, premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2018, she adapted and directed the Israeli remake of Showtime’s WEB THERAPY.

Eran Kolirin

Eran Kolirin’s feature debut as a director, The Band’s Visit, garnered worldwide critical acclaim and over 50 prestigious awards around the globe, among them eight Ophir Awards, the Un Certain Regard Jury Coup de Coeur Award in Cannes, and the European Film Discovery Award. Kolirin’s second feature, The Exchange, was selected for the Official Competition at the Venice Film Festival and won several prizes worldwide. His third film, Beyond the Mountains and Hills, premiered at the Cannes Official Selection - Un Certain Regard 2016 and was released to critical acclaim in Israel and abroad. 

Hana Laslo

Hana Laslo is an Israeli actress and comedian. In 2005, she won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival Award for her performance in Amos Gitai’s Free Zone. She has also received four Ophir Award nominations. She participated in dozens of Israeli and international films, among them: Alila by Amos Gitai, Shiva by Ronit Elkabetz and Shlomi Elkabetz, Adam Resurrected by Paul Schrader. Laszlo has written, produced, and starred in more than a dozen one-woman shows since the 1980s. In 2019, she received an honorary PhD from Bar-Ilan University for contribution to the stage.
