Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan reunite after the unprecedented success of their first collaboration, BATMAN BEGINS. This time, Heath Ledger joins the cast as the Joker, and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent. With the help of Police Deputy Commissioner Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman), and new district attorney Harvey Dent, Batman tries to eradicate organized crime from Gotham City forever.
