Lost in Paris

France, Belgium 2016 | 83 minutes | French | Hebrew, English subtitles

Fiona’s (Fiona Gordon) peaceful life takes a surprising turn when a disturbing letter arrives from Martha, her 93-year-old aunt who lives in Paris (Emmanuelle Riva who passed away earlier this year). She boards a plane to the city of lights only to discover that Martha has disappeared. While searching for her aunt, Fiona is caught up in a series of mishaps on the city streets, and meets Dom (Dominique Abel), an annoying but endearing beggar who won’t leave her alone. In their unique and heartening way, artists Fiona Gordon and Dominique Abel follow in the footsteps of Buster Keaton and Jacques Tati in this brilliant slapstick comedy, a celebration of humor, precise choreography, and impeccable cinematic moments.
