A renowned author vacations on a desert village overlooking the Mediterranean, sharing a Bohemian lifestyle with his eccentric muse. But their delirious bubble explodes when three violent burglars appear nearby with 250 kilograms of stolen gold, while a series of unexpected guests, including the author’s, wife, son, and a pair of cops, arrive. The next day, things spiral out of control in a sequence of wild shoot-outs featuring gripping cinematic techniques. Belgian cult directors Helene Cattet and Bruno Forzani return with a hyper-stylized adaptation of a 1970s crime novel. The result “is a neo-Western that is guaranteed to leave no spectator indifferent” (Hollywood Reporter).
