A family with several siblings lives on a Native American reservation. One is an alcoholic who ventures beyond the reservation’s limits to purchase alcoholic beverages. The eldest works on a cattle ranch. Every night they get together to watch Bonanza. Their misery grows when they learn that their youngest brother, Floyd, has been killed in action in Afghanistan and they are forced to struggle with military bureaucracy to repatriate his body. Iranian director Babak Jalali (Frontier Blues) explores the dire reality of the Native American community and uncovers an institutionalized system of oppression. Jalali teams up with esteemed cinematographer Agnès Goddard to create a forceful and uncompromising film.
