Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the miniscule pioneering sexologist who speaks at a remarkable pace, along with her German accent, and contagious laugh, became a household name in the 1980s and 90s in the US and around the world. Today, already in her 90s, she works incessantly, and her tips for the bedroom are as relevant as ever. Filmmaker Ryan White manages to capture her energetic, vivacious character as she hops from events to photo shoots and interviews, and skillfully examines her professional and personal lives. Wonderful animated clips facilitate the story of her childhood, when she was sent to Switzerland on her own to escape the Nazis but lost her parents in the War.
