Filmmaker Oeke Hoogendijk tries to understand why her mother refuses to leave her house. What may at first seem perfectly ordinary – a woman in a living room watching TV with her cat – gradually turns into an oppressive reality where inside and outside worlds collide and the Holocaust is a daily presence.
