Chantal Akerman Prize - Jury
Julian Rosefeldt

Germany

Since 1997, Artist and filmmaker Julian Rosefeldt has shown his works in numerous museums and institutions such as the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Nationalgalerie Berlin, and the Israel Museum. He is internationally known for his installation and film Manifesto, starring Cate Blanchett in 13 different roles. Rosefeldt's films investigate language and the conventions of cinema as an allegory for human behaviors. 

 

Mathilde Henrot

Adjoint artistic director of Locarno Film Festival and the co-founder of pioneering platforms Festival Scope Pro and Festival Scope, adopted by industry professionals and festivals worldwide. Henrot curates the Kinoscope program of the Sarajevo Film Festival. Additionally, she was Director of Sales at MK2 and founded Maharaja Films, producing works by Camille Henrot, Yorgos Lanthimos, and others.

 

Chen Tamir

Israel

An entrepreneur and independent curator, listed by Artnet as one of 25 women curators worldwide. From 2012 to 2020, she served as Curator at the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel-Aviv. She also served as Curatorial Associate at Artis in New York. She holds an M.A. from the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College and her books and exhibitions have been presented worldwide.
