Sébastien Lifshitz

France

A French film director. His first feature Come Undone (2000) was critically acclaimed. His documentary The Crossing (2001) premiered at Cannes Directors Fortnight. Wild Side (2004) and Bambi (2016) both won awards at the Berlin Film Festival. The Invisibles (2012), a portrait about the life of elder homosexuals, premiered in Cannes Official Selection. Lifshitz returned to Berlin with the highly acclaimed Little Girl (2020) and presented Casa Susana (2022) in Venice.

 

Yael Perlov

Israel

A film producer and editor, winner of the Israeli Film Academy Award for editing Late Marriage (2001) and for Ben-Gurion, Epilogue (2016), which she also produced. She received the Film Art Award by the Ministry of Education and Culture (2006). Perlov initiated, produced and edited many film and TV projects, including A Room of Your Own - Women Writing (2006-2010) and the Israeli-Palestinian student film collections Coffee (2010), Water (2012) and Sport (2014).

 

Manuela Martelli

chile

A Chilean director, screenwriter and actress. As an actress, she has worked with notable directors like Sebastián Lelio and Martin Reitman. She went on to study film at Temple University, USA, and directed shorts that screened at prestigious festivals. Her debut feature 1976 (2022) premiered at Cannes' Directors Fortnight and won numerous awards, including the JFF Best First Feature.
