Manuela Martelli

Manuela Martelli is a Chilean director, screenwriter and actress. As an actress, she has worked with notable directors like Sebastián Lelio and Martín Rejtman. She went on to study film at Temple University, USA, and directed shorts that screened at prestigious festivals. Her debut feature 1976 (2022) premiered at Cannes’ Directors Fortnight and won numerous awards, including the JFF Best First Feature
