Saints Rest

An Israeli-American co-production about two estranged sisters who chose different paths. One left home to pursue a Broadway singing career, while the other, stayed behind to manage their late mother’s coffee shop. Over the course of one summer, the sisters reunite in their Midwestern town, and attempt to reconnect with the help of their Israeli friend, who is torn between her American boyfriend and the conflicting desire to return home to Israel. The women’s stories intertwine, as they each face issues of belonging and the choices they must make when family, career, and romance pull them in different directions.
