The Magic Mountain

The Magic Mountain, like the famous novel of the same title by Thomas Mann, connects three sites at the foot of the snowy Alps and the invisible powers that churn underground. Local residents and tourists flock to the site to uncover geological layers that are believed to conceal a deep secret. All three sites reveal the dark history of the European landscape in a different way – through radioactive substances, secret treasures, or magical artifacts that predict the future. From afar, the divine mountainous landscape is silent and pure, but the depths of the earth reveal the repressed desires of surprising characters whose fate is dependent upon the fate of the land.
