In his new film, Ai Weiwei continues to shed light upon on the vicious side of humanity. This time, the acclaimed Chinese artist takes us to Mexico to follow the horrific incident that occurred in Iguala in September, 2014, when students were attacked by the police force and masked men. Six students were murdered on the spot and another 43 were kidnapped, never to be found again. The film focuses on the families of the victims and includes intimate and moving interviews alongside spectacular and poetic cinematography, woven together to create pure cinematic experience. The personal stories present a devastating tragedy and attest to the involvement of the state in the violent reality of its citizens' lives.
