Executive Director of the Miami Jewish Film Festival and is responsible for the overall programming and administration of the Festival. Under his leadership, MJFF has seen a revitalization of its brand, year over year audience growth (4,000 in 2014 to over 31,000 in 2020), and recognition as "One of the 50 Best Film Festivals in the World" by Moviemaker Magazine, “The Best Jewish Film Festival in the US” by The Forward, and “Best of Miami” by Miami’s Community Newspapers. Igor is also the founder and director of Popcorn Frights, the largest genre film event in the Southeast United States, which in 2020 was named one of "The World's 50 Best Genre Film Festivals" by Moviemaker Magazine. He teaches film aesthetics part-time at Florida International University and is a graduate of the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts.
