Jasmila Žbanić

Jasmila Zbanic studied theater and film directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. Since 1997, she has produced, written and directed many films. Her feature debut GRBAVICA won the Golden Bear at the 2006 Berlinale. Her latest film QUO VADIS, AIDA? (2020) premiered in Venice and won three European Film Academy Awards, two BAFTAs and a nomination for an Oscar in the International category.
