Alexandru Belc

Alexandru Belc graduated from the Bucharest Film Academy in 2007. He worked as assistant director for Corneliu Porumboiu and Cristian Mungiu and was the director of several short films, both fiction and documentary. His feature debut Metronom (2022) received the Best Director Award at Cannes’ Un Certain Regard sidebar, and was awarded Best International Film at the Jerusalem Film Festival.
