Joseph Cedar

An acclaimed Israeli filmmaker whose films Beaufort (2008) and Footnote (2012) were nominated twice for Academy Awards. These films won Best Director at the Berlinale and Best Screenplay in Cannes, respectively. Cedar also wrote and directed Time of Favor (2001), Campfire (2004), Norman (2017), and created the HBO miniseries Our Boys (2019).
